One of my favorite trends right now is the sewn garland. SO easy. SO cheap. Just a bit of time and a sewing machine and you’ve got the potential for miles of party decorations!
You can use almost any material for these garlands, in really any size circles. Mostly, I lean toward the 2″ circles – because that is the size of our cupcake toppers in our printable party sets. Find (or buy) some coordinating scrapbooking paper, construction paper, newsprint, old books, or even fabric or felt and intersperse the printed party circle with it. The sewn paper garland looks amazing hanging on walls, windows, chair backs, draped over tree branches, tables – the sky is the limit!
