autumn’s annual holiday craft bazaar

Home / DIY / autumn’s annual holiday craft bazaar

My daughter, the crafter… I don’t know where she gets it from! Last year my daughter, Autumn, came up with this idea to throw her very own Holiday Craft Bazaar. She handmade ornaments and holiday adornments and sold them to the neighborhood just as if she was running a lemonade stand. This year, we cranked the crafting up a notch and made some really cute and unique things.

For the little bottle caps, she cut out images from her favorite magazines and glued them with mod podge. After adding a little glitter and glue, she turned them into a pin. Clever little girl. She also took clear plastic ornaments and sprayed them with chalkboard paint. Also, notice the cute little felt ornaments and garland we (I mean she) whipped up!

To my surprise, this event was wildly successful! Autumn literally sold every single item. Here’s what she sold:

Bottlecap Pins
Gift Tags with hand drawn Holiday images by Autumn
Party Food Labels and Recipe cards with hand drawn images by Jack
Felt Garland
Chalkboard Ornaments
Felt Snowmen, Christmas Trees, Gingerbread Men, and Mitten Ornaments
Wooden Ornament Rounds

Jack also got involved with his sweet treats and hot chocolate stand… needless to say, we all had a great time! Huge thanks to our AMAZING friends who came out to support Autumn and her bazaar ideas. See you next year!
