For the past couple of years, my daughter Autumn has taken it upon herself to throw a little “handmade craft fair” in our living room. She makes every kind of ornament she has time for can think of! This year, she discovered pinterest – and that has actually made things more difficult (I think you know what I’m talking about). The Bazaar was Sunday afternoon, and we had some wonderful neighbors, family and friends show up and buy tags, and felt and glass ornaments.
And to keep our shoppers happy, my son Jack set up a table of snacks and sweets, coffee and hot chocolate.
It was a day to celebrate the season, to work on math skills and a day to give back. Half of Autumn’s profits went directly to her good friend’s non-profit, Love in the Mirror. It was a beautiful day.
The end of the day. Two tired entrepreneurs.
