I beg your pardon? Yes, you heard us correctly. It’s two favorite warm-me-up cocktails is one! We’ve created this Irish Mexican Coffee recipe with Whiskey Whip Cream for our friends at HGVT.com, and wanted to share it with you too!
What’s a St. Paddy’s party without a little Irish coffee? We switched this classic up a bit and added a little twist. Typically, an Irish Coffee has whiskey, Bailey’s, and coffee. We saved the whiskey for the whipped cream, and added stout & Rumchata to espresso for more of a kick. If you aren’t familiar with Rumchata, its a rum based liqueur with hints of cream and cinnamon. It’s downright delish! Spice up your Irish or Mexican coffee and blend them together with our recipe:
Irish Mexican Coffee Recipe with Whiskey Whipped Cream
Coffee
2oz Stout
½ oz Rumchata
1 shot espresso
2 oz half & half
Cinnamon for garnish
Mix ingredients glass or coffee mug. Top with whipped cream and sprinkle with cinnamon.
Whipped Cream
1 cup heavy cream
1 tsp irish whiskey
2 tsp sugar
In mixer, combine all ingredients. Whisk until fluffy. Serve immediately.
