Sadly, this year Cinco de Mayo falls on a Tuesday. Yes, it might be inconvenient and difficult to rally the energy to plan a party on a school night, but we we are here to help! You’ll kick yourself if you miss this opportunity to invite the gang over to eat some flavorful food and festive drinks. Let’s celebrate Cinco de Mayo!
You have a few more days to pull off this fiesta, so DO NOT stress. We’ve taken the the guess work out of it for you. First, plan the decor – if you are feeling ambitious you can start by making this adorably AMAZING lime wedge piñata. 3 ripe avocados
1 large tomato
4 limes
1 tbsp of mayonnaise
2-3 tsp of garlic powder
salt and pepper to taste
Slice, chop, juice, scoop and shake all ingredients into a large bowl and serve. makes enough for 6 people…or 4 really hungry people.
