Bugs can be cute. Don’t believe me? Take a peek at our new Bug Birthday Party Supplies! This swarm of geometric and colorful bugs are just the right look for your sweet boy or girl’s next big celebration.
We went with COLOR for this new set of Bug Birthday Party Supplies, and did they turn out just perfect! From the pennant banner to the cupcake toppers we decked it all out. Now, because our new set of decorations is a printable, all you’ll need is a color printer, acrobat reader (free from adobe.com!), some scissors, tape, ribbon and toothpicks. Now, are you ready for some party inspiring eye candy?
We went with some bug inspired sweets of course, lemon cake pops with bug embellishments, chocolate covered pretzel “twigs”, geometric cereal treat triangles on a bed of sprinkles and homemade vanilla cupcakes (with wrappers and toppers from our printable kit). Now, you certainly don’t have to include this many sweets at your party, we just want to give you as many ideas to choose from as we can come up with!

For those guests who needed to snack a bit, we served up popcorn with sprinkles in matching bug boxes, strawberries on these ADORABLE ant appetizer picks, and some bottled water for bug catchers on the go.

We also included some party favors with bugs, of course, some candy-to-go and our party activities right here with the table.

Our party guests used some adorable, and age appropriate, bug “catching” equipment – a net, a case and a magnifying glass. Rest assured that NO bug was harmed or even caught during this party activity… We chased some, looked at some and hunted for them, but drew the line at coming too close to real bugs. Our bug containers were eventually filled with rocks and sticks and other natural treasures. All in all a really great birthday bash for any age and any kid!
