Looking for something to occupy the kids while the Easter Bunny hides the eggs? We have JUST the thing. Easy to make and so inexpensive too, this duct tape Easter basket is the perfect craft for the kids!
What you’ll need: Roll of colorful duct tape, Xacto knifeor scissors, some double sided tape a cutting mat and this duct tape basket template. Now you are ready to craft!
1. make a 9” square sheet of duct tape “fabric”. Lay down 5 strips of tape upside down, slightly overlapping, then lay down 5 strips perpendicular on the top (sticky side to sticky side)
2. print out the basket template PDF, and lay it on top of the “fabric”
3. cut out both layers, paper and “fabric”
4. fold and press sides and tabs where indicated on the PDF as dotted lines, and tape the tabs to the opposite sides
5. repeat folding and taping for all 4 sides
6. make a handle by folding in half a length of duct tape, and securing it to the inside of the basket using an additional piece of duct tape
7. secure handle to opposite side
